An upcoming Edinburgh trip

Next week we are heading up to Edinburgh. We've had some gorgeous weather recently, right up until now, that is. We’ve looked at the weather forecast, and it's showing rain, rain and more rain. It looks as though we're going to get a little wet... Typical timing!
Ahh, the good old British weather, eh?
Mind you, in the rain, the Old Town looks atmospheric with its wet cobbles glistening under the street lamps and mist drifting around the castle. The cafés, pubs and museums become even more inviting, offering a cosy refuge from the drizzle. So, we'll just have to wait and see what the weather decides to do.
All part of the senior travel adventure, as they say. (Yes, I know I'm romanticising haha.)
Although that said, we're actually looking forward to exploring Edinburgh regardless of what the skies have in store. Whether we're wandering through the historic streets, enjoying a leisurely coffee while people-watching, or taking shelter in a welcoming pub, there will be plenty to enjoy. We might even jump on the bus...
Mind you, we’re still hoping for a few sunny intervals, 🤞 but if not, we'll make the most of it and enjoy every minute of our trip. Edinburgh, we'll see you soon!
Oh, the joys and frustrations of the typical British weather. 🌞☔️🌂🌦️
